let’s imagine a balloon filled with water. The water inside the balloon represents electric charge, and the balloon itself represents a closed surface.

Now, imagine poking tiny holes in the balloon. The water that leaks out of the balloon represents electric flux. The more water (charge) there is inside the balloon, the more water (flux) will leak out Similarly More the size of the hole more water will leak out .Thus

It is the measure of Field lines coming out a closed surface.
