Electric field explained like five in just 60 words

Explanation:

If we put a magnet and  bring a very very small iron nail near it it will get attracted.The region around the magnet up to where the attraction is felt by the nail  is called the "Electric field" of the magnet.

Replace the magnet with a charge and the nail with a test charge (+1 Coulumb) and the attraction/repulsion felt by the test charge is called the electric field Intensity and the region is called electric field of the Q charge.

Another example:

Imagine you have a balloon and you rub it on your hair. Your hair stands up, right? That’s because of an invisible thing called an electric field.

Definition:

Electric field due to a charge is the space around the charge, in which an electrostatic force acts upon any other charge. 

The direction of test charge(+1 Coulumb) movement decides the direction of electric field:
